Theater Instructor (Part-Time, After School) Bound Brook, NJ Part-Time | 2-3 Days/Week | After-School Hours (4:00-7:00 PM) Ideal for recent grads & college students

About Us:

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to making the arts accessible for children of all ages and abilities. Through theater, music, and visual arts, we foster creativity, confidence, and community at a low cost to families. We're currently seeking a Theater Instructor who loves working with kids and is excited to inspire the next generation of performers. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys being part of every aspect of a creative program — from directing performances to simple choreography and event support.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead engaging theater workshops for children ages 5-14 Teach performance skills: acting, stage presence, character building Plan and direct student showcases Develop creative, age-appropriate lesson plans Support with choreography, costumes, and props Help with backstage and set-up during events Create a fun, inclusive, and encouraging environment Assist with occasional fundraising events and family activities

Qualifications:

Must love working with children! Background in theater, performing arts, or education preferred Energetic, reliable, and ready to be hands-on Great opportunity for college students or recent graduates Experience working with kids is a plus but not required

Schedule:

2-3 days per week After-school hours: 4:00 PM

• 7:00 PM Flexible weekday scheduling (Monday-Friday) Occasional Saturdays a plus, but not required
