Job Description
Dickenson County Behavioral Health is currently receiving applications for Three Therapeutic Day Treatment (TDT)/Community-Based Psychiatric Treatment (CPST) Providers to deliver school-based behavioral health services to children and adolescents. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students' mental health, emotional well-being, and success within the school environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Human Services (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field)
- Willingness to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification as soon as possible
- Experience working with children/adolescents, preferably in behavioral health or substance abuse settings
- Knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders, as well as community resources
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in a human services-related field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or similar)
- Prior experience in case management or care coordination
- Experience working with families involved in multiple systems (schools, courts, child welfare, etc.) Benefits include:
