Therapist

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Therapist to join our growing Dual-Diagnosis PHP/IOP treatment program in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions while providing high-quality clinical care in a supportive outpatient setting. This position is responsible for facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions while collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support positive patient outcomes. We are seeking a licensed clinician in New Jersey who thrives in a fast-paced behavioral health environment and is committed to clinical excellence, patient engagement, and quality documentation.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, flexibility for 11:00am - 7:00pm 1 day a week Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family therapy services to clients in PHP and IOP levels of care Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups focused on substance abuse recovery, relapse prevention, mental health stabilization, coping skills, and emotional wellness Treat clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders in a clinically appropriate and compassionate manner Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and company policies Collaborate with medical providers, case managers, psychiatric providers, admissions staff, and clinical leadership regarding patient care Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and clinical staffing Provide crisis intervention and emotional support as needed Maintain appropriate caseload management and patient engagement Communicate effectively with families and outside providers when clinically appropriate Support discharge planning and aftercare coordination efforts Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field required Active New Jersey clinical license preferred, including:

Experience working in a dual-diagnosis treatment environment strongly preferred Experience in PHP, IOP, outpatient, detox, or residential treatment settings is a plus Strong understanding of co-occurring disorders, substance use disorders, relapse prevention, and trauma-informed care Knowledge of ASAM criteria and evidence-based treatment modalities preferred Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills required Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team Experience with EMR systems preferred

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
