Saint Columbkille Parish in Ft. Myers is seeking a manager for the St. Columbkille Thrift Store. Job duties include, but are not limited to the following: Job Responsibilities Creating and maintaining the schedule of volunteers. Ordering and/or shopping for all products and supplies including cash register, cleaning, office, paper, pricing, snacks, and workbench. Organizing social events for volunteers. Work with the Accounting Manager in the collection of bad checks. Work with customers returning merchandise. Work with customers regarding complaints/problems. Organize sales and promotions. Maintain craft table. Maintain order in back room/pod. Clean/price jewelry. Maintain bookshelves. Send birthday cards and get-well cards as appropriate to customers and volunteers. Simple filing, correspondence. Other duties as assigned. Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent. Some retail sales/store experience a plus. Must have basic math skills. Stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, pull and climb on a regular basis throughout the day. Self-motivated individual able to work independently. Must be able to work flexible schedule including Saturday. Must pass Level II FDLE background check.
