Job Description

TIG Welder Caddo Mills, TX Full-Time About the Company Our client is an established manufacturing organization with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and employee development. Position Summary The TIG Welder is responsible for fitting, joining, and repairing metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques in accordance with product specifications and production schedules. Responsibilities Typical schedule is 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.; hours may be adjusted based on production needs Perform welding duties using TIG welding equipment Weld steel components according to layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, and verbal instructions Assist with welding multi-component assemblies Operate forklifts, hoists, grinders, slings, cutting torches, hand tools, and related equipment Inspect and correct welds to ensure quality and product specifications are met Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and job specifications Cross-train and assist in other production-related tasks as needed Communicate with management regarding assignments, quality concerns, and production issues Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment Follow all required safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts This job description is not intended to contain a comprehensive list of duties, responsibilities, or activities. Qualifications Candidates should possess:
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong multitasking and prioritization skills Ability to read a tape measure and caliper Forklift operating ability Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings Basic shop math skills, including fraction-to-decimal conversions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks Safety-focused mindset Reliable attendance record Physical & Work Environment Requirements While performing the duties of this position, employees may frequently be required to: Lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials Squat, kneel, bend, twist, grasp, and reach overhead Stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts up to 12 hours and up to 6 days per week Work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment Work in a fast-paced industrial setting while wearing required personal protective equipment, including hearing and eye protection Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Short-term disability, long-term disability, AD&D, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Health Savings Account (HSA) Up to 3 weeks of starting vacation, with additional accrual based on tenure 12 paid holidays Bonus eligibility Educational reimbursement assistance Employee matching gift program Employee stock purchase program with discounted stock options
Pay:
$22.00 - $29.00 per hour
