Responsibilities Assist in measuring, cutting, and laying tiles according to project specifications and schematics Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate underlayments for optimal tile adhesion Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install tiles with precision Mix grout, caulking, and other materials to seal joints and finish surfaces professionally Support in restoration projects involving water damage repair, floor care, or remodeling tasks Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste materials properly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Experience Prior experience in construction site work or flooring installation is highly desirable Hands-on experience with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, saws, and levels; proficiency with power tools is a plus Previous handyman experience or concrete finishing background will be considered an asset This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in construction while honing their skills in tile laying, restoration, and general craftsmanship.
