Summary We are seeking a long term, dedicated Tire Technician to join our team in Byron Center, Michigan. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and performance of our fleet by providing top-notch tire services. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding transportation services. Responsibilities Perform tire installations, repairs, and maintenance on semi trucks & trailers. Conduct thorough inspections to ensure tire safety and performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out tire services. Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns. Maintain accurate records of tire services performed. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times. Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed. Schedule Day Position - Monday - Friday Consistent Work Schedule 40-45 hours per week No weekends or On-Call Growth opportunities for those who want to go further. Qualifications Experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic is preferred, but not necessary. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction. Ability to lift heavy objects as required for the role. Mechanical knowledge and skills related to tire service. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance practices.
