Telegraph Tire is a locally trusted tire shop serving the Downriver and Southeast Michigan area. We handle everything from small lawn tires to full-size semi tires — including farm, tractor, loader, and ATV tires. We pride ourselves on quality work, honesty, and customer service.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Tire Technician with experience in passenger car, light truck, commercial, and agricultural tire service. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, maintain a positive attitude, and be able to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires for cars, trucks, semis, tractors, loaders, ATVs, and lawn equipment Install valve stems, sensors, tubes, and patches Perform flat repairs (plugs, patches, section repairs) Conduct tire inspections and identify wear or damage Operate tire mounting and balancing equipment safely and correctly Perform road service calls for our own company trucks and semis, as well as customer vehicles Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow shop safety procedures Provide excellent customer service and work as part of a team

Requirements:

Prior tire experience required (passenger, truck, and semi experience preferred) Strong knowledge of mounting, balancing, and repair techniques Ability to lift and handle heavy tires and equipment Valid driver's license (CDL a plus but not required) Reliable, self-motivated, and maintains a positive attitude
