Looking for a Mobile Semi-Truck & Tire Technician for the Huntington, Baker City, and Ontario areas. It expands on general repair duties beyond tires while excluding internal engine.

We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated Mobile Technician to join our 24/7 emergency roadside team. You will be the first responder for semi-trucks and trailers experiencing breakdowns along the I-84 corridor. We will train the right candidate who has a strong mechanical aptitude and a "ready-to-go" attitude.Key Responsibilities Tire Service:
Perform emergency roadside tire replacements, repairs, and rim inspections for all semi-truck and trailer positions.Mechanical Roadside Repair:
Diagnose and fix common non-engine issues to get drivers back on the road, including:Air Systems:
Repairing air lines, glad hands, and brake chambers.Brake Systems:
Inspecting and replacing brake shoes, drums, and adjusting slack adjusters.Electrical & Lighting:
Troubleshooting trailer lights, fuses, and battery failures (jump-starts).Fluid & Belt Service:
Replacing worn belts, leaking hoses (coolant/hydraulic), and performing fluid top-offs.Diagnostics:
Use basic diagnostic tools and multimeters to pinpoint electrical or starting issues.Safety & Documentation:
Secure roadside work zones with proper lighting/cones and maintain accurate digital service records for every call.What We Are Looking For Availability:
Must be willing to travel and be on-call 24/7. This role requires responding at a moment's notice in all weather conditions.Experience:
Previous experience with heavy-duty tires or trailers is preferred but not required.Tools:
Candidates with their own basic hand tools and impact sets are preferred; pay scale will adjust based on the tools you provide.Requirements:
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently in a mobile environment. Strong communication skills to update dispatch and drivers on repair status. What We Offer Pay based on experience level and tool ownership. Comprehensive training for technicians looking to enter the heavy-duty diesel industry. The opportunity to work with a growing mobile service fleet in Eastern Oregon.Pay:
