Tire Warehouse Manager

Description Summary The Tire Warehouse Manager assists the Warehouse Director in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including tire receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment. This role serves as a working leader, providing direction and support to warehouse team members while ensuring safety, accuracy, productivity, and customer service standards are met. Essential Functions Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping. Assist customers with orders, sales, and payments. Ensure accurate inventory control, cycle counts, and proper tire storage procedures. Monitor workflow to meet productivity and order fulfillment deadlines Enforce safety standards, including proper lifting techniques and equipment use Follow warehouse processes, safety, and quality standards Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and damage Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and tire handling equipment Communicate operational issues or staffing needs to the Warehouse Manager Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce errors Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in tire distribution or an automotive environment Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse best practices Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to lift to 75 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Computer skills (inventory systems, scanners, or Microsoft Office experience required) Core Competencies Leadership and team coordination Attention to detail and accuracy Safety awareness Time management and problem-solving Dependability and accountability Work Environment & Physical Demands Warehouse environment with exposure to temperature variations Frequent lifting, bending, and standing Use of warehouse equipment and tools Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Supplemental Insurance 401(k) with up to a 4% company match.
