To assist the Title l schoolwide campuses in carrying out duties necessary to provide academic support to at risk students.QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma/GED Texas Educational Aide CertificateSPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Ability to work well with students Ability to communicate effectively.EXPERIENCE
NoneMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Assist instructional personnel with the development and presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises. Tutor students individually or in small groups to reinforce and follow up learning activity. Operate standard school equipment such as laminator, copier, etc. Execute daily plans under the direction of the teacher for the at-risk students. Perform clerical duties as assigned by principal. To help at risk students master instructional materials assigned by the teacher. Perform other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Mental Demands:
Reading and comprehending simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Writing simple correspondence and effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations. Applying common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Physical demands/environmental factors:
Standing, walking, talking, and hearing. Climbing, balancing, stooping kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 40 lbs. Use hands to finger, handle, as to operate office equipment; reach with hands and arms. Biological exposure to bacteria and communicable diseases. Moderate noise level in the work environment.
