Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Toddler Lead Teacher to inspire and guide our youngest learners. In this vital role, you will create a warm classroom atmosphere, develop engaging curriculum plans, and support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of toddlers. Your enthusiasm will help lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and curiosity. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to toddler needs, incorporating early intervention strategies and literacy education. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and child welfare. Collaborate with families to support individual growth goals and communicate progress effectively. Manage classroom activities with strong classroom management skills, ensuring smooth daily routines and transitions. Support children's physical development through teaching physical education activities suitable for toddlers. Maintain accurate documentation of developmental milestones, standardized testing results, and daily observations. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and Montessori or other educational philosophies as applicable. Skills Extensive experience in toddler care, preschool education, or early childhood education settings. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management strategies, and special education practices. Excellent communication skills for working with children, families, and team members. Familiarity with Montessori methods, literacy education techniques, and math instruction for young learners. Ability to implement early intervention programs and adapt teaching approaches for diverse learning needs. Proven experience in daycare or private school environments with classroom experience in early childhood settings.
