Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your passion for working with children and expertise in early childhood development will help lay a strong foundation for their future success. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote literacy, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and physical development, incorporating Montessori methods and other educational philosophies. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support childhood development milestones, including toddler care and early intervention techniques. Manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior to ensure a safe and organized learning space. Assess student progress through observation, standardized testing, and informal evaluations; communicate findings with parents and guardians effectively. Collaborate with colleagues to design lesson plans that incorporate physical education, arts, and other enrichment activities. Maintain detailed records of student development, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with childcare standards and private school requirements. Support children's welfare by fostering inclusive practices that accommodate special education needs and promote child welfare principles. Experience Prior classroom experience in preschool or daycare settings is essential; experience with toddlers is highly valued. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques. Experience developing curriculum content focused on literacy education, math skills, and classroom management. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for early learners and effective tutoring methods for young children. Background working within private schools or Montessori environments is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development in childhood development or special education is encouraged. Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
