Toddler Twos Assistant Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers in a preschool setting.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
• Create and follow lesson plans that incorporate various subjects, including math, language, and social skills with the ability to pivot to new ones if the planned ones are not working well.
• Foster positive relationships with students and encourage their participation in classroom activities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians as needed.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool or daycare setting.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs of each student.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
