General Description/Job Purpose:

Tool & Safety Equipment Management:

Provide Field and Shop crews with quality tools and equipment that are in perfect working order. Processing of tool and safety equipment orders in timely manner ensuring all notes & descriptions are read & followed Thoroughly inspect all tools and equipment returned from field or shop use in preparation for re-issue. Perform safety inspection on all returned tools and safety equipment and removing from service any item that does not meet return to service standards Ensure all tools are OSHA compliant (Handles/Guarding/ETC) and prepared for re-issue. Provide weekly tool, safety & consumable audits and discuss any purchasing needs with Facility Coordinator Maintain adequate levels of inventory to meet workload projections. Area of Responsibility (AOR)

Management:

Provide total accountability for all needs within the following designated areas. This includes providing tracking of any assets, goods and materials being stored, all housekeeping, and bringing maintenance issues forward

• Tool and safety storage area, including immediate surrounding areas used for processing of tool, equipment, and safety orders.

All areas currently allocated for tool storage on North dock space. Clackamas Ventures (Working in concert with Facility Coordinator) for overflow storage of tools and equipment.

Other Job Duties:

Perform general shop duties as needed and directed by Facility Coordinator. Maintain punctual, regular attendance. Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. Assist Facility Coordinator as needed with some facility items & repairs Assist Facility Coordinator with small vehicle repairs & decommissioning of fleet vehicles as needed Respectfully takes direction from supervisor. Ability to assist other members of our team when requested Other duties as assigned.

Measures:

Identifying, communicating, and suggesting corrective actions to increase productivity and gain efficiency Accuracy and quality of Tools, equipment, and safety goods. Feedback to be communicated and monitored prior to weekly production meeting. Discussing concerns & issues as they come up with Facility Coordinator. Meets time sensitive needs for tools, equipment, safety gear.

Education & Experience :

Diploma or GED required with 5+ years related experience preferred. General understanding of sheet metal products and its associated hazards. General knowledge of the Portland and surrounding areas preferred. Certificates, Licenses and/or

Registrations:

Valid Oregon Driver's License Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills :

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Computer Skills:

Job requires specialized computer skills. Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail and use scheduling software.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
