Job Description:

Tool Designer (50-75K + OT) Due to growth, we have an opening available for a Tool Designer with a leading global manufacturer in the Binghamton, NY area.

Your Role:

Design tooling, fixtures, gages, cutting dies, bending dies, and custom manufacturing tools using CAD software Create detailed drawings and documentation for production and outside vendors Perform dimensional analysis and engineering calculations using manufacturing specifications and technical data Support tooling improvements, manufacturing optimization, and new product introduction activities Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, process engineering, and continuous improvement teams Interface with outside vendors regarding tooling fabrication and purchased components

Background Profile:
