$19.83 - $23.69 per hour Brighton Cabinetry is a growing cabinet manufacturer located in Neoga, Illinois, and we are looking to expand our team with a skilled and motivated Top Coater in our Finishing Department. This full-time position offers a stable 4x10 schedule, opportunities for advancement, and three guaranteed pay increases within your first year of employment. We are seeking a dependable, energetic individual who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and works well both independently and as part of a team. Schedule Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Occasional overtime as needed No regular weekend shifts Essential Qualities We value team members who demonstrate: Positive attitude Strong work ethic Integrity and accountability Team-oriented mindset Engagement and initiative Willingness to learn and grow Attention to detail and quality Key Responsibilities Apply finishing products including stains, paints, lacquers, glazes, and sealers to wood surfaces Utilize spray finishing and hand-rub techniques to achieve high-quality finishes Perform multi-step finishing processes including staining, glazing, wear sanding, and brushstroke techniques Mix stains, glazes, and finishing materials according to specifications Evaluate and adjust color consistency and finish quality Work independently while maintaining production schedules and deadlines Maintain finishing equipment and ensure a clean, organized work area Qualifications Previous finishing experience preferred Knowledge of multi-step wood finishing techniques Ability to distinguish and adjust color variations accurately Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Benefits become effective on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.

Vacation:

1 week after 6 months; 2 weeks beginning January 1 following first year; 3 weeks after 5 years of service

Sick Time:
