Torch Operator Requirements:

Must pass a pre-employment test of experience as a welder Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Job description: This position is responsible for torch cutting scrap metal to specific size requirements. Must have previous torching experience, preferably in a scrap yard setting. This position works outside, so working in the cold, heat, rain and snow must be desirable. This candidate should have a strong work ethic, organizational skills, attention to detail, good communication skills, and be familiar with different types of scrap. You must be able to work standing 90% of the time. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, sometimes more •We are GLE Scrap Metal!
