Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Torrey Tavern Crew Member. We're hiring all tavern positions, Bartenders, Line Cooks, and Dishwashers. Whether taking orders, serving food and beverages, or maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, you'll be an essential part of our lively hospitality team. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service from seating to check-out Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive tavern experience Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and bar areas Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations Support opening and closing procedures, including sanitation protocols and inventory checks Experience Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or bar environments is preferred, but not necessary. We will train you! Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence Familiarity with Toast POS is highly desirable Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards is essential Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Serving or host/hostess experience is a plus, along with basic math proficiency for cashiering duties Knowledge of food industry terminology and operations will support your success in this role Line cook experience is a plus.
