Tow Truck Driver Responsibilities Drive tow truck to designated locations to pick up and transport vehicles Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck, ensuring proper securing of the vehicle Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their vehicle needs Perform basic automotive diagnostics and minor repairs when necessary Maintain accurate records of all tows, including vehicle information, pick-up and drop-off locations, and any additional services provided Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating the tow truck Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to ensure efficient operations Tow Truck Driver Requirements Must be able to pass a drug test (marijuana included) Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience operating a tow truck or similar heavy-duty vehicle preferred Basic automotive repair knowledge and mechanical skills Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally Ability to operate a forklift for loading and unloading vehicles onto the tow truck Knowledge of proper techniques for securing different types of vehicles, including flatbed towing Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work full-time.
