Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Towing Operator and become a vital part of providing prompt, reliable vehicle recovery and roadside assistance services. In this energetic role, you will operate tow trucks and related equipment to assist stranded motorists, recover vehicles, and ensure safe transportation. Your mechanical expertise, customer service skills, and proactive attitude will drive our commitment to safety, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities Safely operate tow trucks, flatbeds, and other recovery vehicles to tow or transport vehicles of various sizes and types. Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as snatch blocks, skates, straps, chains. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Manage conflict situations effectively, maintaining a calm demeanor while resolving issues with customers or team members. Conduct routine inspections of towing equipment and vehicles to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including logs of loads, destinations, and vehicle conditions. Requirements Proven experience in Towing and roadside assistance is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving tow trucks or flatbeds is preferred. Strong understanding of manual transmissions and mechanical systems within vehicles. Hold or be able to acquire a current medical DOT Physical Card Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management professionally. Night and Weekend availability is a must as you will be required to work "On-Call" Every other night and weekend. Physical ability to load/unload vehicles, perform inspections, and operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
