Buckland is looking for a Trade Supervisor (Post Entry Experience) What you'll be doing This position is responsible for leading a team in managing all post-entry activities within our customs brokerage operation. The role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate resolution of required entry adjustments and submissions. The Trade Supervisor is expected to take a proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement. Responsibilities will include review, analysis, and filing of regulatory submissions to Customs. The Trade supervisor must demonstrate professionalism and effective communication with clients, suppliers, and government representatives while also providing administrative support to the Operations team. Respond to Requests for Information, Notices of Action, Liquidated Damages and Entry Summary Rejections. Action non-arrivals and entry cancellations. Manage Temporary Import Bond closures. Ensure timely follow up with importers to obtain necessary documentation including certifications, written statements, payment and any other information required to support the filings. Collaborate with the Operations team to obtain necessary documentation required to support the filings. Perform data integrity checks of importers entry data. Leadership Responsibilities Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports. Assign tasks to team members. Hire and Terminate employees. Assists with training and guidance of direct reports. Monitor work volumes of direct reports to ensure entries are completed to customs regulations guidelines. Supervise team members, conduct team meetings, monitor attendance, and work schedules. What we need from you High school diploma or equivalent. College Degree preferred. US CCS is strongly preferred. Minimum 5 years customs brokerage, regulatory, consulting or similar professional services required. High level of communication and decision-making skills. High level of organization, time management and attention to detail. Advanced MS Office knowledge. Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times. Valid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel if required to other offices locations in
CND/USA/MX.
