We are looking to fill a Traffic Control Flagger opening in Byers, CO . As a Flagger, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of workers and the public by directing traffic through construction zones or other temporary work areas. Flaggers use hand signals, flags, and other devices to regulate traffic flow, manage road closures, and communicate with drivers and construction crews.WHY JOIN MEARS?

Direct Traffic:
Use hand signals, flags, and visual cues to guide vehicles safely through work zonesSet Up & Maintain Control Devices:
Position cones, barricades, and signage to direct traffic and alert drivers to hazards Coordinate withCrews:
Communicate with fellow flaggers and construction teams to ensure consistent traffic flow Communicate withDrivers:
Provide clear instructions on detours, lane closures, and route changesPrioritize Safety:
Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents promptlyMonitor & Adjust:
Observe traffic conditions and update control measures as neededKEY QUALIFICATIONS
Strong Communicator:
Able to clearly direct traffic and relay info to drivers and crewsDetail-Oriented:
Stays alert to traffic flow and safety risks.Physically Enduring:
Capable of standing long hours in all weather.Traffic Control Knowledge:
Understands safety protocols and procedures.Team Player:
Works well with others to manage job site flow.
