Traffic Control Flagger

Seed Slingers is seeking dedicated and safety-conscious Traffic Control Flaggers to join our team in Galivants Ferry, SC. As a Traffic Control Flagger, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and construction crews by directing traffic through work zones. Responsibilities Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely through construction and maintenance zones Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, barricades, and warning devices Use hand signals, stop/slow paddles, and radios to coordinate traffic movement Monitor traffic flow and promptly report unsafe conditions or incidents Follow all company safety policies and local/state traffic regulations Communicate clearly with supervisors, crew members, and the public Remain alert and aware in high-traffic environments Assist with general labor duties when traffic control is not active Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Traffic control or flagger certification required Previous flagging experience required High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable attendance and punctuality Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred Strong attention to safety and detail Ability to work flexible hours, including day and possible night shifts Ability to pass background check and/or drug screening if required Compensation Starting at $13 per hour and up, depending on experience and qualifications.
