Traffic Control Supervisor

Job Summary Drake Companies is seeking an experienced Traffic Control Supervisor to oversee and maintain all traffic control operations on an active highway construction project. This position will be responsible for ensuring traffic control devices and operations remain safe, compliant, and properly maintained throughout the duration of the project. Duties Maintain and inspect all project traffic control devices including drums, signs, barricades, message boards, temporary traffic control devices Set up and oversee lane closures, flagging operations, traffic switches, work zone modifications Ensure all traffic control operations comply with project plans, MUTCD standards, and TxDOT requirements Coordinate daily traffic control needs with project management and field crews Monitor work zones for safety, cleanliness, and proper device placement Respond to changing field conditions and adjust traffic control as needed Maintain documentation and certifications required for traffic control operations Experience Prior experience managing traffic control on highway construction projects Experience with: Flagging operations and lane closures Work zone setup and maintenance Contractor Responsible Person (CRP) certification preferred ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) preferred ATSSA Flagger Certification preferred Knowledge of TxDOT traffic control standards and specifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work outdoors and occasionally outside normal working hours as traffic conditions require

Pay:

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
