Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Traffic Engineer to join a growing traffic team in Southern California for a regional traffic firm. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of impactful projects that improve mobility, safety, and infrastructure across the region. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct traffic operations analyses, including signal timing, capacity analysis, and traffic impact studiesDevelop and review traffic control plans, signing and striping layouts, and signal designsUtilize software such as Synchro, VISSIM, HCS, and Auto-CAD/MicroStationSupport transportation planning and corridor studiesCoordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teamsPrepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for public and agency reviewEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal standards and guidelinesQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field 2-6 years of experience in traffic engineering or transportation planningProfessional Engineer (PE) license in California is requiredProficiency in traffic analysis tools (e.g., Synchro, VISSIM, HCS)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesSimilar jobs in Irvine, CA
