Role:
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Traffic Engineer to join a growing traffic team in Southern California for a regional traffic firm. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of impactful projects that improve mobility, safety, and infrastructure across the region. You'll be part of a collaborative environment where innovation, technical excellence, and client service are at the forefront.

As a Traffic Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of projects-from traffic signal design and corridor studies to multi-modal planning and operational improvements. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys solving complex transportation challenges, and is passionate about making a difference through infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct traffic operations analyses, including signal timing, capacity analysis, and traffic impact studiesDevelop and review traffic control plans, signing and striping layouts, and signal designsUtilize software such as Synchro, VISSIM, HCS, and Auto-CAD/MicroStationSupport transportation planning and corridor studiesCoordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teamsPrepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for public and agency reviewEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal standards and guidelines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field 2-6 years of experience in traffic engineering or transportation planningProfessional Engineer (PE) license in California is requiredProficiency in traffic analysis tools (e.g., Synchro, VISSIM, HCS)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines
