Job Description

Overview As a Traffic Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), in our Indianapolis, IN office you'll work on preparing and supervising traffic and transportation engineering projects primarily associated with land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and energy clients. From the initial traffic data collection, through the detailed traffic analysis and ultimately the preparation of the formal transportation studies, you will be responsible for all aspects of traffic engineering project development. You will also be responsible for the assisting in the preparation and oversight of Permit Plans for access to State and Local roadways and in the completion of all required Forms and documentation to obtain the Permits. Interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials, you'll impact the whole project
  • from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.

Qualifications B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience P.E. Certification 10+ years' progressive engineering experience with a focus on traffic and transportation engineering Previous experience in project management and staff supervision Traffic engineering experience including data collection, analysis, report preparation (with a focus on Transportation Impact Studies) and preparation of Highway Occupancy Permit Plans Proficiency in traffic engineering software such as Highway Capacity Software (HCS) and Synchro/SimTraffic Ability to speak and write professionally P.T.O.E. certification Experience working on projects for developers, architects, commercial, big box retail, and industrial clients Proficiency in computer drafting software such as: AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or InRoads About Us We have experts!
