Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Trailer Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of trailers, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery. Duties Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on trailers, heavy equipment, farm machinery, and industrial vehicles. Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues related to transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, HVAC systems, and electrical components. Conduct welding, fabrication, tire service, and assembly tasks to restore equipment to optimal working condition. Operate power tools, hand tools, forklifts, excavators, cranes, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Maintain detailed service records including repair logs, inspection reports, and maintenance schedules. Diagnose automotive issues such as brake repair, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement, diesel engine repair, and HVAC system servicing. Assist with customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring satisfaction with the work performed. Qualifications Proven experience working as a mechanic or service technician in a dealership or heavy equipment environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Familiarity with schematics for electrical systems and hydraulic diagrams. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and other industrial machinery. Skilled in welding, soldering, fabrication techniques using power tools and hand tools. Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, suspension components, tire service procedures and alignment techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
