Transcriptionist 125 N Lake St, Manistique, MI 49854 $16.75 - $24.89 an hour - Full-time $16.75 - $24.89 an hour - Full-time The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities: Responsible for providing transcription services to various departments within the organization. Perform administrative and transcription functions for Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioner, medical, clinical personnel and other agency programs, as requested. To be successful, this candidate must have 1. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent 2. Must be able to type a minimum of 65 wpm and possess proficient transcribing skills. Three to five years medical office experience preferred. 3. Demonstrated knowledge of general office procedures, how to utilize electronic office equipment, and how to formulate professional correspondence required. May be required to participate in employment testing designed to measure word processing, clerical, and office skills. 4. Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to work well with general public, exercising tact, diplomacy and flexibility under pressure. 5. Appointment is subject to driver's license and criminal background check. Must be at least 18 years of age, maintain a working telephone, possess a valid driver's license, and provide own transportation.
