Transportation Dispatcher / Load Planner Boyd and Sons Inc. - Washington, Indiana Boyd and Sons Inc. is a growing flatbed trucking company based in Washington, Indiana. We operate throughout the eastern half of the United States and are looking for a motivated, organized, and dependable Transportation Dispatcher / Load Planner to join our team. This position plays a critical role in coordinating freight, maximizing truck productivity, supporting drivers, and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities Plan and dispatch flatbed freight efficiently and profitably Coordinate driver schedules, appointments, and routing Communicate with customers, and drivers throughout the day Monitor load status and resolve issues quickly Optimize truck utilization and minimize empty miles Ensure on-time pickup and delivery performance Work closely with management to improve operations and customer service Maintain accurate load and driver records Qualifications Experience in trucking dispatch, logistics, transportation, or load planning preferred Flatbed experience is a plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Organized and detail-oriented Computer skills and ability to learn transportation software systems Positive attitude and ability to work well with drivers and customers What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable, family-owned company with strong reputation Opportunity for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Full-time position based in Washington, Indiana If you are dependable, motivated, and ready to be part of a growing transportation company, we would like to talk with you.
