Job Title:
Transportation Recruiter Job Description We are seeking a proactive and skilled Transportation Recruiter to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various technical and professional positions within the transportation sector. Responsibilities + Develop recruitment strategies for technical, professional, CDL, and non‑CDL roles. + Source candidates using online tools, job boards, social platforms, and internal systems. + Review resumes to confirm alignment with job requirements. + Manage candidate communication throughout the full hiring process. + Coordinate interviews with hiring teams across multiple locations. + Document recruiting activity in ATS/VMS systems. + Support full‑cycle recruiting including offers, negotiations, and closing. + Build talent pipelines for upcoming and ongoing hiring needs. + Contribute to creative sourcing improvements and process optimization. Essential Skills + Talent acquisition expertise across transportation and skilled roles. + Proficiency with ATS and VMS tools. + Experience recruiting CDL and non‑CDL positions. + Strong full‑cycle recruiting capabilities. Additional Qualifications + Strong communication skills, written and verbal. + Organizational and time‑management ability in a fast‑paced environment. + Independent problem‑solving and prioritization skills. + Negotiation experience for offer discussions. + Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. + Skilled in social media sourcing and online database mining. + Quick learner of new systems, tools, and processes. Work Environment + Fast‑paced, high‑volume recruiting environment. + Collaboration with multiple teams and departments. + Standard business hours with flexibility based on hiring needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
