MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must be a willing learner, energetic, a team player, organized and willing to take instructions from multiple supervisors. Reliable, punctual and consistent. Attention to detail is imperative. Able to lift at least 150 pounds. Must hold a valid CA State Driver's License and possess a clean driving record Clean drug test Willing to follow set company protocols Must have a pleasant demeanor, able to interact with customers in a respectful & sensitive manner during a removal with great respect for their loved one and home. Be able to conduct themselves professionally and with empathy towards grieving families. Willing to complete a pre-employment personality profile questionnaire.

Required vaccinations for this industry:

Hepatitis C. Willing to occasionally be on call outside of regular work schedule, which is Monday-Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm. Basic data entry and word processing experience is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Removal of remains from private residences and facilities such as hospitals, coroner offices and senior care facilities, using a company vehicle Transporting of casketed and cremated remains, flowers & memorial products Maintain cleanliness of cold storage and preparation areas, as well as company-owned vehicles Assist with funeral and memorial services as needed, including transporting of casketed or cremated remains to the service location and cemetery Picking up and dropping off official documents at county vital statistics office Data entry & word processing Administrative duties as assigned Light janitorial Candidates who are not qualified will not be considered
