Job Description

Adecco is seeking an experienced
  • Senior Air Cargo Operations Specialist
  • for a dynamic and fast-paced logistics environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in air freight operations, compliance, and client service. You will play a key role in ensuring the seamless movement of air cargo shipments while maintaining operational excellence and delivering high-quality service.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Manage the full lifecycle of air freight shipments, from booking to final delivery + Coordinate with airlines, customs brokers, ground handlers, and internal teams + Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or disruptions + Serve as a senior escalation point for customers and operational issues + Ensure compliance with IATA, TSA, and international shipping regulations + Prepare and review documentation, including AWBs, invoices, and packing lists + Build and maintain strong relationships with airline partners and clients + Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement + Support, mentor, and guide junior operations team members •Qualifications•+ 5+ years of experience in air freight or cargo operations + Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, incoterms, and documentation + Experience working within a freight forwarder, logistics provider, or similar environment + Proficiency in logistics systems and Microsoft Office (Excel preferred) + Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment •
Preferred:
  • + IATA/FIATA certification + Dangerous Goods (DGR) certification
  • Pay Details:
  • $65,000.
