As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by assignment. Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and/or unattended property, and help to deter violations through visible presence and timely communication. Support access control and screening-related post orders by verifying credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and documenting security-related observations and/or incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
