• Dispatcher in Kahului, HI , you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations.

you'll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You'll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they're needed most.

Overnight Pay Rate:

$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Security Experience:

1+ years 21+ years of age Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

NOTE:

First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, restricted areas, and credentialing requirements in accordance with location rules and government-related protocols. Assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic, providing information to the public, and supporting orderly operations during routine activities and/or changing conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
