What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations through appropriate channels. Assist with security-related support during alarms, medical events, evacuations, and/or traffic or pedestrian issues while maintaining professional interactions with the public.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
