Security Officer Airport Driver Patrol Assignment

). As a Airport Security Professional in Lihue, HI , you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type:

Part Time, afternoon

Pay Rate:

$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee .

Day Time Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00

PM Requirements:

Valid Driver's License (+1 years) 21+ years of age Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities in a public transportation setting. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or public agency representatives as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, unattended property, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders. Support daily operations at a government location by assisting with wayfinding, providing information to the public, and communicating clearly with supervisors, site personnel, and/or first responders during routine and emergency events.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess 1 or more years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
