Security Officer Unarmed Airport Patrol Detail

). As a Airport Security Professional in Lihue, HI , you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type:

Part Time, Afternoon Pay Rate:

$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee .

Job Schedule:

Day Time Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00

PM Requirements:

Valid Driver's License (+1 years) 21+ years of age Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government-operated transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and support compliance with location rules, credential requirements, and restricted area protocols. Assist with crowd management, directional support, and other security-related duties during routine operations, high-traffic periods, and/or weather or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
