This role reports to the Station Manager. This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role based on business needs. The primary responsibilities and required qualifications for the position are noted below:
- Assist Station Manager to Lead, direct, supervise and facilitate all aspects of station operation
- Ensures safety and security procedures are consistently followed according to the EL AL Ground Services, Health & Safety regulations, and according to international aviation standards
- Ensures timely, customer-focused service that complies with all applicable state, federal and company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Proactively manages all company flight activity including handling of off-schedule operations
- Ensures that coordination and communication with crew and OCC occurs in a professional and timely manner
- Maintains timely and open communication with all relevant departments to assure a safe, timely and customer-focused operation
- Ensures consistent compliance with all federal, state and company procedures
- Supervises contracted ground handling services to ensure that all safety regulations and service levels are consistently met
- Maintains proactive and productive working relationships with handling agents, contractors and other service providers
- Liaises with other airline station managers, airport operations director, handling agents and security officials, and other airport stakeholders.
