Job Description

Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield is seeking a Summer Worker to help support day-to-day operations during the busy summer months. This role typically assists with general maintenance, groundskeeping, and keeping airport facilities clean and orderly. Workers will also help airport staff with light operational tasks and supporting special events. The typical starting salary is $15.18 - $18.22 hourly depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience as well as budgetary considerations. Essential Function Examples
  • Assist airport staff with a variety of basic tasks to support daily operations during the summer season.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout airport grounds and facilities.
  • Provide general support for routine maintenance activities and special projects as assigned.
  • Perform light labor or outdoor work as needed, following instructions from supervisory staff.
  • Report any observed issues or safety concerns to the appropriate airport personnel. Marginal Function Examples
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Equivalent to High School Diploma / GED. A current, valid driver's license is required.
