G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add to the Passenger Service Ramp operations in Greater Binghamton Airport (BGM)

Passenger Service Ramp Agent Pay Rate:
$17.00-$17.00 per hour
Shift:
Vary The Passenger Service Ramp Agent perform outside ramp agent duties including baggage handling, mail and freight handling, aircraft servicing, driving motorized equipment, and cleaning aircraft interiors. The incumbent will be responsible for outside Ramp duties as well. This part of the role will require working various weather conditions performing extraneous tasks including but not limited to, heavy lifting, pulling, cleaning, sorting, loading, security, and some customer service. The incumbent may also be responsible with de-icing the aircraft, so he/she would need to be comfortable with being lifted above aircraft to assist with de-icing. What does a Passenger Service Ramp Agent do? Handling and caring for passenger baggage. Loading, unloading, transportation to and from various locations of the airport Handling and care of U.S. Mail, freight, and express parcels. Loading, unloading, transportation to and from various locations of the airport Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) Pushing or towing aircraft to and from designated locations in the airport Provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front-line employees in performing functional tasks Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities Meet and greet Customers with tickets Provide assistance to passengers as requested or required Move and lift heavy cargo items to and from the plane May have to de-ice the aircraft of from on top of the plan Work in all weather conditions including snow, rain, hot heat, etc Monitors ticket counter and self-service check-in queue activity Assist with the ticketing and boarding process, gate, and baggage services Cleaning of aircraft interior What skills are required to Join the Team? Must be able tow work weekends/holidays Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successfully completing a background check and ten-year work history. Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions as it relates to the role All applicants must consent to and pass a drug test as part of a conditional job offer. -
