We are looking for a positive, full-time customer service-oriented person to join our team at the Downtown Manhattan Heliport in NYC.
Responsibilities:
Escort passengers safely and efficiently between the terminal and aircraft. Physically & visually ensure that all passengers are properly secured with seat belts and that headsets are on accordingly. Assist pilots by providing visual communication signals to ensure safe takeoffs. Maintain constant situational awareness around moving aircraft and equipment. Deliver clear, professional verbal instructions and assistance to passengers.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor. Ability to remain alert, safety-conscious, and attentive at all times. Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Comfortable working in a high-noise environment around jet engines and machinery. Aviation experience is a plus but not required. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and participate in ongoing drug & alcohol screening programs. Excellent Communication Skills Required - must be able to effectively communicate information and instructions verbally and in a professional manner with the passengers.
Schedule:
8-hour shift in person, must be available to work Saturday's Time/Half for major Holidays Ability to
