Inbound Inspector
Job Description:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Inbound Inspector to support its aviation quality and inventory operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring all incoming aircraft materials, components, and accompanying documentation meet DASI's Quality Management System (QMS) standards and aviation compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate will have aviation parts processing experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced aviation environment while maintaining high attention to detail and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Perform visual inspections of incoming aircraft parts and materials
Inspect and identify incoming material and related documentation in accordance with purchase orders and repair orders
Highlight and report any non-conformance, discrepancies, or missing documentation
Review physical attributes, quantities, certifications, and release records for compliance
Enter, verify, and validate accurate data within the DASI database system
Ensure compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling requirements when processing sensitive materials
Support the Quality Assurance department with continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with aviation quality standards
Perform additional duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year processing aviation surplus parts required
Minimum 1 year of related aviation or warehouse experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of ISO and/or AS Quality Standards preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to resolve issues independently and proactively
Professional demeanor with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Strong customer service mindset and team-oriented attitude
Industry Experience Preferred
Experience supporting or working with:
Aviation surplus parts processing
Aircraft parts receiving and inspection
Aviation warehouse operations
FAA-regulated aviation environments
Aviation quality assurance and compliance systems
Inventory and logistics operations
Drug & Background
Background check required
Drug screening may be required depending on role and compliance requirements
Dress Code
Business casual or warehouse-appropriate attire depending on department requirements. Safety equipment may be required in operational areas.
