Flight Oversight ASIs apply a broad knowledge of the aviion industry, aviion safety, and Federal aviion laws, regulions, and policies.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The POI is responsible for aviion safety activities in a complex and dynamic air carrier aviion environment environment th includes experience in the following specialties: Operions. Applies an advanced knowledge of the technical aspects of the work directed and ensures the promotion of the highest level of safety compliance with regulory standards while utilizing transparency of da exchange th includes the identificion of hazards and management of risk. As the principal representive in regulory surveillance and risk management of air carrier activities, exercises full certifice authority over a major air carrier with very extensive and complex operions. Analyzes operions involving large fleets of turbojet aircraft engaged in large-scale passenger and freight service. The magnitude, intensity, and scope of program responsibility require significant and regular assistance of managers, inspectors, and administrive staff. Plans, designs, and carries out programs, projects, studies, or other work. Provides policy assistance to field-level Aviion Safety Inspectors (ASIs) on difficult or complex policy interpretions. Assignments involve wide responsibility for the applicion of expert knowledge of advanced multiengine turbojet aircraft and are concerned with all aspects of the operional capabilities and limitions of the aircraft. Qualificions Basic Requirements:
