Bus Driver 100 Broadway Terrace, Hot Springs National Park, AR 71901 $19.29 an hour - Full-time $19.29 an hour - Full-time
MUST HAVE CLASS B CDL WITH PASSENGER ENDORSEMENT ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operates transit buses, vans on fixed routes, door-to-door routes, and others as assigned.
- Loads and unloads passengers; loads, properly secures, and unloads wheelchair passengers.
- Observes all state and federal laws for safe operation of vehicles.
- Performs pre-trip walk-around of assigned vehicle.
- Fuels and cleans interior of vehicle; reports any vehicle problems to supervisor and writes up repair order at beginning and end of shift.
- Participates in training activities and safety/staff meetings.
- Prepares driver statistical and performance reports.
- Observes proper fare collection procedures.
- Interact with public respectfully and professionally.
- Assists elderly and disabled passengers.
- Maintains proper communication with dispatch concerning stops.
- May assist in training new drivers; performs related work as required.
- Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
