School Bus Driver/Substitute Bus Driver Location:
Littlefield Unified School District, Littlefield, Arizona Job Type:
Part-Time (4-5 hours per day)
Hourly Rate:
$18.45-$19.70 per hour Job Summary Littlefield Unified School District is seeking reliable, safety-conscious individuals to join our team as School Bus Drivers/Substitute Bus Drivers. In this role, you will safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and other school-related activities while maintaining a positive and professional environment. Key Responsibilities Operate a school bus safely and efficiently while following all traffic laws and regulations. Pick up and drop off students according to assigned routes and schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Ensure the safety of all passengers by enforcing bus rules and expectations. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff. Report incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel. Qualifications Valid Arizona, Utah, or Nevada Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements, or willingness to obtain. Clean driving record with no major violations. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
