Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Administrative Director of Maintenance, Operations, & Transportation or designee, drive a school bus to transport students safely and efficiently to assigned locations along designated routes; assure safety of vehicle by performing daily safety inspections and cleaning duties; picks up and delivers food, equipment, materials, and supplies; performs general custodial work. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and three years of experience driving a motor vehicle with one year driving a public bus.
LICENSES & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid California Class B commercial driver's license with passenger and air brake endorsements
  • Valid California School Bus Driver Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certification issued by an authorized agency.
  • Must pass DOT Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment screening.
  • Applicants may be rejected on the basis of an incomplete application or failure to meet the posted qualifications.
  • Applications MUST include all of the following documents: CPR/First Aid Certification DMV Printout (K-4 (Formerly H-6; Internet copy can be obtained at https://www.
