Summer Camp Bus Driver (Part-Time)

Starting June 9th, last day August 9th•5 hours per day

Pay Rate:

$20•28 per hour Position Overview We are seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Bus Driver to transport campers to and from horseback riding sessions at Monte Verde Ranch during our summer camp program and to Oakhurst California for Summer backpacking trips. This is a part-time, seasonal position ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and have a passion for ensuring safe transportation. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a 22 passenger bus to transport campers between the camp and horseback riding facilities. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior. Adhere to all traffic laws and camp transportation policies. Communicate effectively with camp staff and camp director. Qualifications Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement. Clean driving record with no major violations. Previous experience driving school buses or passenger vehicles preferred. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor. Compensation Hourly wage of $20•28, commensurate with experience. Approximately 17.5 hours per week, full summer schedule below. Seasonal employment from June through August.
