Job Description

Bus Driver Yulista United States, California, Mountain View May 16, 2026 Tunista Logistics Solutions LLC Seasonal (Fixed Term) (Seasonal) As a Bus Driver at NASA Ames Research Center, you'll play a crucial role in providing safe and reliable transportation for NASA employees as part of the Ames Commute Alternative Program (ACAP). The Shuttle Bus Driver ensures timely route completion, performs vehicle inspections, and maintains a professional and courteous environment for all passengers. Essential Duties
  • Safely operate a shuttle bus along assigned routes and schedules
  • Transport passengers to and from designated pickup and drop-off locations
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure passenger safety during boarding, transit, and unloading
  • Assist passengers with luggage or mobility needs as appropriate
  • Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and transportation regulations
  • Maintain accurate route logs, mileage records, and inspection reports
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and passengers
  • Monitor vehicle condition and promptly report maintenance or safety issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the shuttle bus
  • Respond appropriately to delays, emergencies, accidents, or unexpected situations
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times Supervisory Responsibilities None Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Previous shuttle, passenger, or commercial driving experience preferred Experience working in hospitality, airport transportation, healthcare, or corporate shuttle environments CPR and First Aid certification preferred Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
Clean DMV driving record with the ability to pass background and drug screenings. Current Class B driver's license with Air brakes and passenger endorsement for at least 40 passengers. Current commercial driver medical card. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts Ability to safely operate a passenger vehicle in various traffic and weather conditions Physical, Visual, Mental & Environmental Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
