Job Summary We are seeking energetic and responsible School Bus Drivers to join our team! In this vital role, you will ensure the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school, while providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive environment. Your dedication will help create a secure and welcoming experience for children, parents, and school staff alike. Duties Safely operate school buses along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical readiness Communicate effectively with students, parents, school personnel, and dispatch staff in clear as needed Maintain a clean and organized bus environment, reporting any mechanical issues promptly Follow all safety protocols during emergency situations or incidents on the road Keep accurate logs of routes, student counts, and any incidents that occur during shifts Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a school bus endorsement or ability to obtain one Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving preferred Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for working with diverse communities Strong knowledge of driving safety procedures and mechanical basics of vehicle maintenance Ability to work with children and demonstrate patience, behavior management skills, and childcare awareness Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are essential Prior experience in customer service or teaching is advantageous but not required Join us to make a positive impact on students' daily lives!
